His arguments make sense to me. If we, as librarians, are going to be good role models to our students, then we need to follow the copyright restrictions. And, as this document was a cooperative effort between many groups and individuals, its use should be less restrictive. Kudos to CH for looking up the copyright page when the librarian asked about copying it!
